hey, I'm using your justified image grid plugin together with the real media library. But in some galleries I get the failure "Invalid WP Real Media Library ID encountered." I updated RLM but still the same failure. I checked all settings but don't know what the problem is. And another thing: I'm using breadcrumb NavXT but it is not working well with your breadcrumbs. Is it possible to use my installed breadcrumbs complete with your plugin? thanks for your work

JIG doesn't place its breadcrumbs into other breadcrumb plugins. All you see in JIG breadcrumb is a virtual page, a modification of the original page or post you put the JIG shortcode on. They don't really exist, so I doubt navxt would pick them up. It would only show path leading up to the original page/post, not beyond it. Regarding the invalid ID problem. Please contact me from my profile, I'll need to log in with temporary wp-admin access and check it out.

Hi, Looks like an amazing plugin :) I have a pre-purchase question: I need an image grid with lightbox, when clicking on an image will open a different image. In addition, hovering an image will show a title and short description. Is that possible with this plugin? Thanks Tal

Hi Firsh, we bought your plugin a month ago and are quite happy with it. Our customer noticed, that when he tabs with his iPad on a picture, it opens in fullscreen just as expected - but closes immediately after that. This does not happen on a PC or Mac. Do you have an idea why this is? Here is a link to our page: Thanks! Johnson

The theme listens to the part that lightboxes add after the URL (the #!something) and removes the #. This can result in PhotoSwipe closing (desktop uses prettyPhoto). You can either add this to Custom JS:

Or disabe all sorts of deeplinking on JIG settings > Lightboxes tab - but that way you lose individual social sharing.

It's to be resolved, if set up correctly you will not see the message again. It's not possible to remove as it's vital to resolve in order for the plugin to be woring correctly. Do you tink it would be better if there was a log screen in the settings and there would be no frontent error message whatsoever?

Something very similar can be achieved yes. Coloring words on the same line differently is not possible with pure CSS. But you can custom CSS the lines to have all caps and add the red line at the bottom. The desaturation filter - special effect (activated by mouse over) - is a built-in feature.

Hello Firsh, You have a great plugin, so I think it's worth its money. Thank you! I would like to create a banner-gallery with a responsive height (according to viewport height, f.e. 50% or vh) and a 'load more' button to expand the gallery. Limit rows and load more button doesn't work together according to this article. Using the "incomplete last row flexible" option as suggested doesn't get the right result either. The number increases when you make the viewport smaller because it wants to fit all the loaded images onto the screen. But of course if I view the gallery-banner on a 1920*1200 desktop screen 50% of the screen can display a lot of images while on a mobile screen maybe 1 landscape or 2 portraits. I don't want to see 50 images one after the other on my phone, just 1 and the option to view the rest (f.e. load more button) and I don't want to waste large screen space to see just 1 photo either. Do you know a workaround? And is there or will there be an option to limit the total grid container height (responsively)? Also, is there a way to make the "load more" button part of the grid? F.e. last tile acting as a button with the text "load more (xx remaining)". Even with the button's custom css it's a bit odd to use an image grid which blends nicely into the site with a button floating in space underneath, instead of it being part of the grid.

I have to agree with all your suggestions and I added them to the todo list. There is no workaround that I know of, the grid depends way more on the width rather than the height. I'd use a different preset for mobile and desktop (load more number set at something that would display just 1-2 rows on either device, like mobile: 4, desktop: 20). Making load more part of the grid as the last image is really a common sense idea. Currently the incomple last row setting has a way to make it appear less floaty, as it guarantees a complete last row until you reach the end of the gallery (where the load more disappears anyway). With some Custom CSS you can achieve something like this: I know it looks silly but you get the idea.

Thanks for the quick answer Firsh! It takes a lot of dedication to make a plugin that can be customized in so many ways, so I understand that it can't work the way everyone thinks right off the bat. The button example you give is good enough. Most site visitors probably don't care, though I'll eagerly await the integration into the grid, because you know the feeling if something is almoooooost but not entirely right. :D Is there some kind of roadmap of the development? It's nice to know which feature you're working on atm or when we can expect a certain feature (f.e. integrated load more button, spring 2045).

That sounds about right. Just kiidding :) I'm currently working on 2 different new projects in teams and I mostly only release security and maintenance updates here. However, a new feautre every now and then is to be expected. No ETA on it though, I pick the most requested/interesting ones first, from an extensive todo list. Regarding load more button, you could create a full width but vertically short version that looks better as a continuation of the grid.

Hi, I am trying to have the most recent images displayed that were uploaded, which of course would update when newer images are uploaded. I am using RML. I see that for NextGen Gallery, there is a special provision, but for RML I am unable to achieve this. I use a nested collection set up as follows: Underneath the images Folder, there is a collection for each season (e.g. 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017 etc). Within each of these collections is an age group (e.g. U9, U10, U11, U12, etc). Under each age group are then a number of galleries associated with that age group. What I would like to display are the last X number of recent uploaded images for a particular season. For instance within 2016-2017, and of course this could be within any age group or gallery. Is this possible? Thanks.

It's not yet possible, but another buyer just requested it not long ago. I communicated this to RML developer and he liked the idea. I'll let you know when this becomes available.

Many thanks for following up on this. I look forward to its implementation. In the meantime, it it possible to include multiple RML_ID in a shortcode to create a combinations of images from multiple galleries or is only a single one allowed?

Nope, but that is also requested by the other customer so that is also coming. These ideas are coming from my Nextgen integration I presume :)

No, as it takes up the full available weight. If you want to center the block of images, you can put the shortcode into a div, and style it with margin: 0 auto; and width: your choice px; Can you show me your page?

Its on a private development server right now. Could you write out the code for me so I know what it looks like, i.e. just the div to center it?

it lines up the images off to the right of the screen of the phone so you can't see it. so you can see the first image in a row, but the others are not visible.

I think your theme is messing it up. Is it responsive? Sorry I can't help too much without seeing it. Does it happen if you just resize a browser window on desktop to something very narrow?

Ah sorry you can't do it like this because the block we created will not be responsive. It's best to leave it aligned to the left. Also please don't create 3 shortcodes, put them all in one shortcode and the plugin will do its job. If you want to have a more complete block with the last row justified as well, try increasing the row height deviation setting. Play around with that, and row height.

Hello, How can I change the size of Thumbnails picture to: 200X133? I see could change only the height, how can I change the width? I want the images in the gallery will be the same size 200X133. How to do this?

The point of my gallery is to not to do this (currently), to not crop if not required. The width is automatic to fill the rows. I plan on doing a cropped mode because people buy the gallery for other features than the justified nocrop.

Hi, thanks for the plugin. Can JIG handle the lightbox effects in my posts where images are src'd from a url instead of the Lighbox Plus ColorBox plugin? because right now I have inconsistency in lightbox between and Thanks

No my plugin can't override the lightbox you are already using. But a possible solution would be to use a WP lightbox plugins such as FooBox that can be applied to your original images and is also compatible with my plugin and is, in general, better than prettyPhoto :) If you need the lightbox my gallery uses on the rest of your site I can offer it as a quick custom job in that case contact me from my profile.

Solved the 1.4.5-problem I send a messeg about earlier. JIG 1.4.5 conflicts with 'User Access Manager - Nextgen Gallery Extension' ( I know, it's beta, old, obselete, but it still did the job...). Perhaps 'NGG Custom Fields plugin' can do the trick for me now...

What are you using user access manager for, what is its purpose? The custom field plugin is only compatible for external link purposes.

I think the extend image button doesn't show on pics that don't need extending because they already fit the window. Especially if those pics are landscape. If they are portair they could be taller than your browser and show the resize button. Also if you set up Large as the lightbox max size setting, you won't see the pics larger than 1024px.
