Landing Page Details

Remind customers who have unpaid order by sending them email reminder directly from the order listing screen or automatically.

The plugin adds to your WooCommerce 2.0 or 2.1 or 2.2 or 2.3 installation the following functionalities :

- “Send reminder” button in the order listing screen for on-hold orders
- “Payment reminder email” template you can customize in the default WooCommerce email settings screen.
- Automatic reminders

Note : Automatic reminders uses native WordPress cron. If the traffic on your site isn’t sufficient to trigger crons quite often, you should trigger crons by another way to be sure your crons are triggered :
– add : define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', true); into your wp-config.php
– setup a cron on your server (or with a cron tool) on this command : wget http://www.myserver.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron

Hi, user erikmolenaarnl made 2 great suggestions for new features of your plugin. Do you still have plans to include these? Would be great! 1. Include a Scheduled Emails Log Section and perhaps a Log at the bottom of your plugin settings. This would make great troubleshooting and some insight what is done & scheduled. Like this: http://screencast.com/t/9Z7XykofGaqj 2. Add macro’s to address variables like {customer_name} and {order-amount} in the Email Content. This allows us to create more customer-friendly e-mails. More examples at: https://www.screencast.com/t/ZRs8xmYcRv1

Hi if you set the first reminder to 0 days, how long does it take for the first reminder mail to be triggered?

The reminder is triggered within one hour in that case. (Assuming, if you use the native WordPress cron system, that someone went to your site at that time, to trigger the WordPress cron system ; see the note here : http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-payment-reminder/6965773#item-description__remind-customers-who-have-unpaid-order-by-sending-them-email-reminder-directly ).

Just figured out that the plugin is not sending automatic e-mails anymore... bummer!!! Can you please fix this, since there is still an open support contract. Alternative would be to open source it on wordpress.org and fix it with the help of the community, would probably be a license issue... actually seems like it's being distrubuted under GPL.

Hey Guys, does this work with Woocommerce Subscriptions. For examples, lets say they have a monthly payment and one of the renewal payments fails due to insufficient funds, can this plugin send them a payment reminder automatically?

Hello, I am very interested in the Plugin, but I have got two questions: is it possible to also send an email to the shop owner with the first reminder? Is there a separate, changeable template file for the reminder email? Because we want to add informations depending on the payment method (via PHP if-query), especially a "Pay now" button for PayPal orders. Or is there another solution to realize that? Thank you in advance.

Hey - this plugin doesn't work - I have "pending" customers who haven't paid for their products in my account but the icon from your plugin doesn't show up next to the customer - why is this happening? http://oi60.tinypic.com/30ue69t.jpg

Hi Nathan, Actually by default the option "send reminder" is only available for "on-hold" orders. If you want to make it available for both on-hold and pending orders juste paste this small piece of code into your functions.php file in your theme : http://pastebin.com/fuUR6k5i

Hi, according to your screenshot, the order is cancelled, and by default, only on-hold orders does have the button. To add the button on cancelled orders, you have to put the code you found, but with a little adjustment : function my_button_status_filter($array) { return array('on-hold', 'pending', 'cancelled'); } add_filter('wopar_button_status_filter', 'my_button_status_filter'); Let me know !

Can you send me an email to [email protected] with your functions.php file ? And confirm me that the order you're taking about has a "cancelled" status ? Does the button show up for on-hold orders ? In your screenshop I saw some buttons to print, do you use a plugin to do that ? If yes, which plugin is it ?

Hi, I'm looking for something that I can send to customers where they have not completed the purchase or their payment failed. This looks like it could be the one but can you add to the email what they ordered or add a link to the order for them to complete it?

  • mbcreation

    2014-11-04 19:59:45

Hi, by default, the mail that is sent is the "note" email. Which by default, contains the note (that you set in the back-end, like "we are still waiting for you paiement") and then the detail of the order (ordered items and addresses). But there is no link to complete the order. If you want to add that, you have two ways : customize the note email to add such a link ; or create a payment-reminder.php email template in your theme.

Ah, it's good to know that it contains the ordered items etc. That is the main thing I was looking for really. Do you know how you could add a link to complete the order?

  • mbcreation

It contains the ordered items if your note email is the default one. Try do add a note to a sample order you places to see what YOUR note email looks like. Maybe your theme removed it, so you have to try to be sure. For the link, like I said, it's possible to write a template email for the reminder, so you put on it exactly what you want... but it's up to you to do that.

Hi, the reminder email is actually the customer-note email, with a customized note. So it seams that the problem comes from the customer-note email template. (Do be sure, try to send a note to a test customer via his order, but I'm pretty sure you will have the same issue with the standard note email).
