Now it is possible to disable the user input into filter, to let the user to filter only by using filter presets. It is something like a “combo” select…
This plugin provide an input box to filter a specified DOM selector (like
.products li or

In addition the plugin let you order the filtered element in ascendig or descending order the filtered resulting elements and change the layout (list or grid) of the elements.
The plugin work with a shortcode which let the user customize pratically all the parameters (see
Shortcode use section to view a full list).
Customizations of the filter box appearance and the animation parameters can be done from configuration page.
It is possible to integrate the filter into the Woocommerce product page: in this case the customization can be made via configuration page.

Hello, How would one use this plugin to filter through posts on a theme's blog page? In most themes, the blog page is one that cannot be edited and a shortcode cannot be placed above the blog posts (without editing the PHP template). Please advise. Thanks!
Hello, Sincerly I did not thought this plugin to work with posts and pages, because most of the premium themes have some kind of built-in filtering method form posts or pages. Depending on the theme, you can create a new page and set as default blog page from WP administration on Settings->Reading page. Then you can add content to the page and it should be placed above the blog posts. Usually a premium theme should have this feature and let you use an advanced content editors (like Visual Composer) to create a page with custom content and blog posts. But as I said it depends by the theme you're using: for example, the default Wordpress themes does not output the content if a page is set as default blog page, so even if you insert a filter shortcode into the blog page content it will not be outputted into the page. I can tell you that in a future release I would like to allow the plugin to filter posts in smoother way, like the woocommerce product filtering. Hope to be useuful...
Thank you for your reply! Another related question: as you know, on such pages with blog posts, not all are outfitted to the page and most have a "load more posts" button or "load older posts" link below the posts or have infinite scrolling so that when ever you scroll more posts show up. How would your plugin filter such content that only shows up after clicking on the "load more posts" link or after scrolling downward? It would be ideal if a search filters that unrevealed content also. Please advise. Thanks!!
sorry, the sentence above should read: "on such pages with blog posts, not all are outputted to the page" and not "outfitted".
Hello, the plugin filter ONLY the content that is "rendered" into the page, not the content that have to be loaded: so if you have a "load more" or "older posts" button the next page posts will not be filtered. Keep in mind that this plugin was created to filter page content, not posts or pages, so the use that you want the plugin to do is not his "native purpuose"...you can do it but with some limitations.
Hello There, I am interested in buying this plugin. Can you please tell me can i add this plugin to my slider and homepage too.I saw the demo on shop page and i loved it can this also be added to slider so people can search it the way it is in demo and on home page the drop down list of product. looking forward to your reply.
Hello, I suppose you're interested into the Woocommerce feature: keep in mind that the plugin is a "content filter", not a complete Woocommerce product filter. It works only on the content and products that are displayed into the page, does not perfom any product search into the database. Basically to let Woocommerce to work completely with this plugin you need a page with ALL PRODUCTS displayed and then you will be able to filter them. If you have a product page organized into different pages the plugin let you filter only the products present into the current page. Hope to be clear enough....if you have any question I'm here.
Yes i am interested in woocommerce feature and please correct me if i am wrong what you are saying is that suppose i have 1000 products in my store and only 50 products are displayed on each page so this plugin will only search in those 50 products that are displayed on that specific page ?
Yes, it is exactly as you said. Keep in mind the the plugin is not born with the idea to be a Woocommerce product filter, but instead is a page content filter. For product filtering purpuoses there is the Woocommerce builtin product filter that handle it....
Hello, do you think that this filter can work like: uniregistrydotcom?
Hi ! I would love it if one could also pre-populate the search field, as a dropdown, with strings, basically product categories in my situation, so people could type if they wanted to.. or just scroll down to select a "pre-type entry". Do I make sense ?
Hi! I like your plugin. I have Visual Composer with Newspaper Theme, The plugin works with VC? and other question is... at Demo Page you explain the "Table-based data multiple filtering" . What I need is to use that Table but Adding custom images to each name. Is that posible? I'm trying to create an Extensive Persons Directory (3000 persons) for visitors. i. e. First Name, Last Name, State, City and Ocupation, and also an Image of that person. Once the visitor enter the data and your plugin shows the target person, when visitor click It will be sent to a personilized adress in the page. It seems that your Plugin can make that!! I purchased "ensential Grid plugin" but the filter is not predictived like yours.
Hello, I think you can use the plugin to do what you need, but I would like to explain a couple of thing before you buy it. First, my plugin doesn't generate the data table, but provide only the filter functionality. So you have to create the table manually (or with the plugin that you bought) and then add the filter to it with the plugin. Second, the plugin operate the filtering only on the data displayed into the current page, does not handle paginated data. So if you have 3000 persons data, they have to be displayed into one single page to be filtered with my plugin. So you can't set up a page with 100 persons and If you have paginated data the plugin will filter only data displayed into the current page the first 100 persons on the first page and the other 2900 on other pages, because the plugin will filter only the one into the current page (if you are on the first page will filter only 100 persons). Third the plugin work with Visual Composer but doesn't have a Visual Composer button to create the filter: you have to add a common text element and then edit text. Into the default Wordpress editor you can find the plugin button editor. Hope to be clear enough...if you have more questions don't hesistate to ask.
H, will this filter / search visual composer posts / portfolio too?
Yes and no. This plugin filter only the content that is displayed into the current page, does not preform any search into post/page/portfolio/custom posts. So, if you put all your posts into a page (I mean without pagination or "load more" buttons) you can configure the plugin to let you filter the posts. But, as I said, the plugin does not perform database searches, it only filter the displayed content...so If you have a posts list with pagination the filter will only operate on the visible posts, not in posts in page 2, 3, 4,... Hope to be useful...thanks
I have grid content in post (using shortcode to load this content). Can this plugin filter the content in post ?
Hello yes, you can do the posts filtering based on the text displayed into the post data. But you have to display all the posts into a single page because the plugin can filter only the posts diplayed into the current page. It does not perfom a "database" post filtering. You can see some demos at http://wpdemo.accolore.com/
Here is example post on my website: http://khuyenmai.danhgiablog.com/midea/ Do your plugin can filter the products in grid layout and auto-arrange the filtered products ?
I just purchased the plugin, try to use it. Send an email to your support address because I still can't get it work on my site.
thanks for your support ^^
You are welcome...
Hey, I can't access the demo? I sign in with demo demo but just loads to blank white screen!?
Hello, I resetted the demo website. Now you can test the plugin. Thanks for the reporting...
I'm not entirely sure how this plugin operates, so have a repurchase question: I am looking to add a TV channel list to my website, so all text. Will this plugin allow me to let users filter the channel list by alphabetical order, numerical order and by category (i.e.: sports, movies, news)
Hello, yes you can do it with the plugin: I suggest you to insert your channel list into a table, with the name, category and all data into the columns. On the head of the table you can configure multiple textbox that let the user to filter (writing the text with the keyboard of choosing from a preset of entries) the data depending on the column. For example, if a user write the word "com" into the category column, the plugin display all channels with "comedy" and "comic" category. If you want to see how it will appear (the plugin is configurable into the wordpress administration panel) you can visit the demo websito http://wpdemo.accolore.com. On the bottom of the demo page (before the last demo) there is the configuration that I think is correct for you. One last thing: keep in mind that the plugin filter ONLY DISPLAYED CONTENT, does not perfom query on posts, pages or custom post types. For example if you have a blog page with 4 posts displayed out of 10 total posta, the filter will affect only the 4 displayed posts, not all the 10. Hope to be useful..ask me if you have other questions... Bye bye
Hi Accolore, I purchased this plugin as well as the visual composer. Im looking to make the caption with the images linkable text. or some part of text associated with the image linkable to a page on my site or outside the site. Do you know how I can achieve this? Thanks for the help! love the plugin. Tyler
Hi Tyler you can visit the demo site at http://wpdemo.accolore.com to see a demo: at the end of the page there is an example to use the plugin with Visual Composer. You can find the code to reply the demo on your website: you can copy/paste the code into the standard Wordpress editor in "text mode" (not "visual mode") and then switch to the Visual Composer backend editor. You can customize the demo as you need. If you need further customizations you can provide me the public link of the page and I can give you other hints to configure the plugin. One last thing....don't forget to give a review on my plugin (with the "stars" buttons)...it's important! Thanks again for buying...
Its an amazing plugin. But I would really appreciate to create different fields, for example: when presets available, option to not let users enter something but show a dropdown instead
Another little thing... For themes, that already use Redux, a plugin using Redux and that requires installation of redux, the site will slow down dramatically. I try to use a buch of caching plugins and have some cronjobs to remove live tasks, but double redux isn´t nice so far
Ok, for this problem I'm doing something. I will release an update that check if Reduct is installed not only as "plugin" but into theme too...so you haven't to install it two times...hope to be online with this update before december...I'll send you a message..
Hello, I released an update with a new option: now it is possible to disable the filter text box input from users...so it will be possible to change the filter text only using filter presets buttons. Unfortunately I'm still working on the Redux Framework "duplicate" problem. It's not so easy to "intercept" the Redux framework loaded inside the theme and use it in my plugin...but I'm confident... I'll keep you updated.. Bye bye...
Hi pre-sale question : does it work with Divi builder and Divi Theme? Thanks in advance.
Hello, i tested with Divi 3.0.34 and it work correctly. I just want to specify that the plugin does not have a Divi builder integration: you can add the shortcode into a "text" block using the default Wordpress editor.
Hi, I have a website www.2barch.it I'm looking for a solution in the "projects" page. I'd like to decide a different post order for each different category. Notice that each post is present in all categories. Can this plug-in let me do this? Thanks a lot, Federico
Ciao ciao...
Hello there, for your interest, when activating, I get this error: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /www/htdocs/.../wp-content/plugins/wp-live-content-filter/admin/class-wp-live-content-filter-admin.php:135) in /www/htdocs/.../wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1126
additional: I tried to use the shortcode to filter the table. I see the filter in frontend, but nothing happens. Does this plugin works with colspan cells? Why does the shortcode overwrites my table styles?
Hello, thanks for the purchase... Can you give me the url address fo the page that have theese problems? In this way I can try to figure what's going on and solve the problem...
Hi Accolore! I want to display an .xlsx table.. how can I do that? Best regards!
Hello, to display data table you have to create a table with an empty heading row ad insert there the filter shortcodes. The plugin DOES NOT create the table for you, It only let you to configure the filtering functionality. If you take a look at the last demo on the plugin demo site (http://wpdemo.accolore.com) you can see how it will appear. This is the code to create the demo table:
|[wp-lcf container_selector=".table1" filter_selector="tbody tr td:first-child" effect_selector="tbody tr" filter_type="startWithText" filter_group="group1" clear_button="yes" layout_type="table" sort_button="yes"]Name[/wp-lcf]||[wp-lcf container_selector=".table1" filter_selector="tbody tr td:nth-child(2)" effect_selector="tbody tr" filter_type="startWithText" filter_group="group1" clear_button="yes" layout_type="table" sort_button="yes"]Surname[/wp-lcf]||[wp-lcf container_selector=".table1" filter_selector="tbody tr td:nth-child(3)" effect_selector="tbody tr" filter_type="startWithText" filter_group="group1" clear_button="yes" layout_type="table" sort_button="yes"]Department[/wp-lcf]||[wp-lcf container_selector=".table1" filter_selector="tbody tr td:nth-child(4)" effect_selector="tbody tr" filter_type="startWithText" filter_group="group1" clear_button="yes" layout_type="table" sort_button="yes"]Position[/wp-lcf]|
Hi Accolore, I seem to be getting a jquery error inside of jquery.mixitup.min.js. "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'indexOf' of null" Any Insight?
Hello, sorry for delay in response. This error seems related to a wrong configuration of the shortcode. Can you send me the link of the page that generate the error so I can check if all is ok? If your website is not yet online you cand send me the Wordpress editor code of the page, so I can try to replicate the error in my website. Another last thing...thanks for buying the plugin...and don't fordet to give a rate!!!
Thanks for still adding features to this already unique tool! Gets better and better with every update and really deserves more sales. Cheers, Bernhard
I like this pluggin potentially for what I need it for, i know another person mentioned drop downs instead of a text field. i was wondering if drop downs and buttons could be used for filtering? for example, i see on a site someone posted in the comments there are buttons for filtering http://www.2barch.it/?page_id=12 and since this pluggin uses mix it up 2 something like these examples thats from their example site http://codepen.io/patrickkunka/pen/iwcap http://codepen.io/patrickkunka/pen/ltgde
Also, is it possible to add sub filtering?
Hello, thanks for appreciation. I will answer in order: - As is now the plugin doesn't have the capability to display only the dropdowns with presets values without the text box. I will release an update as soon as possibile where I will introduce another shortcode button to let the user to display filter dropdowns, checkboxes and buttons...more like the example you posted in you message. But as today I still doesn't have a release date...hopefully before January. - It is possible to "bind" multiple filters on the same content configuring the same "filter_selector" on multiple filters. You can find an example at http://wpdemo.accolore.com/#multiple-filtering . Keep in mind that the example shortcodes can be generated using the plugin Wordpress editor shortcode generator button, so you haven't to write down manually the shortcode! Hope to be useful...bye bye
ok thanks for the response
in the new update with drop downs and buttons etc. would you be able to bind multiple filters on the same content without needing a table with text?
One clarification: the plugin filter ONLY the displayed content. The plugin DOES NOT perform filtering on posts or pages that are not displayed: it's not a "post" filtering plugin... The table that you see in the demo is only for example purpuoses. It is already possible to perform multiple filtering without the use of tables. It is only necessary to apply the appropriate configuration on the plugin shortcode. The functionality that I will add in the update will be the shortcode to display filtering using buttons and dropdown combo boxes. I will update you by this comment to let you knwo when the update will be available... bye bye
ok great, i don't need it for posts, i need it for content so perfect.
Any news on when this update will be released?
Hey, were these updates ever made?
Hello, sorry but the features that you requested are still not completed. I got a full time job plus two newborn babies so I have not more spare time to dedicate to the new features development for this plugin. I will correct bugs but in the immediate future I cannot implement new features. Sorry....
ok, i understand you are busy. A project I have coming up i think will work perfectly with that functionality added. Is there a place to contact you and we can discuss what it would take to make that change? I think it will also increase the value of your plugin significantly.
Sure, you can contact me at support (et) accolore.com.
Sorry for the delay, just sent you an email.
I would really love to see this in action. Any chance for a live demo? Thanks, Bernhard
Hi Bernhard I'm working on a live demo site...hope to be online this week...
Hi Bernhard I've added the live preview demo website: http://wpdemo.accolore.com
Thanks! So do I get this right: One can define a class, that the plugin searches? In your demo it searches/filters list items. Is it also possible to have div containers maybe as boxes, that get searched through and filtered? My idea is, to use this as a kind of FAQ with filtering. Do you think this is possible?
Yes, it's possible to do what you want. I added an example at the bottom of the demo page...hope to be useful... PD: it is possible to le the plugin search into a class (like the FAQ question), and hide/show another class (like the grid item).
Very nice demo showing the boxes. :-) Thanks for this. Two questions/ideas: 1. Is it possible to have the boxes reordering themselves when entering the search similar to an isotope effect? Or is this already possible like the Woo demo shows for the normal boxes as well? 2. Could the search box be replaced by checkboxes? I think about a line of alphabet characters, that could be checked and trigger the results. What do you think? I think this would have a lot of potential. Best, Bernhard
For now the plugin can perform the filtering as you can see in the demo site. I understand what are you trying to do and I can tell you that in a future version update I would like to code a better "hiding / showing" animation (more smooth, like Isotope). For the "checkbox feature" I think it will be a useful feature...even if there's a freeware plugin that do it http://ericsteinborn.com/jquery-listnav/ Thanks for advice and stay tuned for updates....
Just saw, that the filtering grid elements demo has the boxes moving to realign. Did you implement this or did I just miss this last time? Last time I saw it, the boxes didn't realign when searched. Thanks also for the link to the freeware plugin. Hopefully you can add some of it's features in the future.
No, I added the realign feature in the previous update. And in 2.0 version I added the sorting feature and the filter presets...check the demo... I plan to update the method of hiding / showing and realign elements...to be more "smooth"...
Hi hiegl, just released version 3.0...check it out...
Very nice update and I say this just from playing with the demo. I think it's time to jump in soon. :-)
Hi Bernhard, sorry for disturb. Can you leave a rating to WP Live Content Filter plugin please? For me is really important to have a rating to boost the plugin visibility. Thanks... Lorenzo
Done! 5 stars of course for this great tool :-)
HI, look like a nice piece of work, one question. Does the search just look at the letters as they are typed from the beginning... so ... if I had a DOM element that read, "A list of red cars" and I typed "cars" or "red" would the filter deal with it, or, would I have to type "A list of ... " etc. Ideally I would like something where I could write "are there any red cars" and it recognise that Red & Cars exist and ignore the other "noise words", so that it works in a similar fashion to free text searching.
Hi Andrej, the plugin search into the whole text (check if text is “contained” into elements), not only if begin with the text. A quick example.
[wp-lcf target=".target li" effect_in="fadeIn" effect_out="fadeOut" class="my-input-style"]Write your custom placeholder here[/wp-lcf]
If you write “red cars” into the filter box the second and third list elements will be hidden and the first remain visible. On the other hand, if you write “list”, all the three elements will remain visible. On a future update I plan to insert a parameter to let the user specify what kind on search to perform (“starting with”, “contain”, “ending with”,...) and also to separate the target element from the hiding/showing element.
Ask if you need any other clarification…and thanks for appreciation
It looks as though you have really though about the functional aspects and I appreciate your detailed and prompt response to my question, it fills me with confidence.... so I was happy to be the first to purchase the plugin, best of luck with sales.
Thanks for aprreciation...If you need support I'm here...:-)
